A HEPA enclosure (also called a HEPA workstation or mini clean bench) is a compact benchtop enclosure with HEPA H13/H14 filtration and optional UV-C sterilisation. It delivers a small ISO 5 clean zone at a fraction of the cost and footprint of a full laminar flow hood, making it ideal for teaching laboratories, start-up labs, and hobby or maker use such as mushroom cultivation, resin art and jewellery. Units range from palm-sized (about 550 × 460 × 700 mm) to compact benchtop (about 700 × 620 × 1150 mm).
