Description
Overview
The T1/T5/T6 benchtop all-steel fume hood is the general purpose workhorse of the WSHLAB ducted range: a 1.0mm cold-rolled steel body with epoxy powder coating, a 5mm anti-bet board liner and baffle, and a 5mm tempered glass vertical sash on a synchronous belt counterweight. It mounts on a standard bench or a matching base cabinet and ducts from the top plenum.
The aerodynamics are the same platform as every WSHLAB hood: an airfoil sill, a three-section baffle sweeping floor, work zone and ceiling, and a balanced exhaust plenum that holds 0.4-0.6 m/s of face velocity across the opening at any working sash height. Exhaust volumes run 1036 m³/h at 1200mm, 1360 m³/h at 1500mm and 1684 m³/h at 1800mm — published so your fan and duct are engineered, not guessed.
Inside, the working chamber carries high-brightness LED lighting, an LCD control panel and 10A splash-proof sockets; the body assembles knock-down for freight economy and installs through any doorway. The VAV variable air volume control system is an option for facilities that meter their air.
Key features
- 1.0mm cold-rolled steel body. epoxy powder coated inside and out; side and back panels integrally formed with shielded welds — knock-down assembly ships and installs anywhere
- 5mm anti-bet liner and baffle. chemical-resistant interior in three sections that sweeps floor, work zone and ceiling for uniform containment
- 5mm tempered glass sash. vertical rising panel on a synchronous belt counterweight — single-hand operation, cycle-tested before dispatch
- High-brightness LED lighting. vapor-tight chamber lighting with an LCD control panel and 10A splash-proof sockets
- Published exhaust volumes. 1036 / 1360 / 1684 m³/h at 1200 / 1500 / 1800mm, with duct spigot diameters matched to standard ductwork
- VAV option. variable air volume control matches exhaust to sash position for energy-conscious facilities
- ASHRAE 110 verification. face velocity mapped at multiple sash heights before dispatch; SEFA 1 construction throughout
