Overview
The BPN is the CO₂ incubator you specify when the cultures cannot be redone: a direct heat carbon dioxide incubator that holds 37°C and 5% CO₂ with an imported infrared sensor, and shows you the proof on a 7-inch touchscreen. Direct heat means the chamber walls themselves are the heating elements — recovery after a door opening is measured in minutes, with no water jacket to fill, treat, or eventually leak.
Everything inside the chamber is arranged for cell culture hygiene. The 304 stainless interior is pressed with rounded corners and a coved floor, so there is no crevice for a spill to hide in; the shelves and water dish lift out for autoclaving; and optional HEPA filtration and a UV-C decontamination lamp cover the multi-cell-line lab’s worst case. An SMC solenoid valve meters CO₂ from your cylinder, and the IR sensor reads concentration optically — immune to the humidity and temperature drifts that move thermal-conductivity sensors.
The controller logs temperature and CO₂ at one-minute intervals, replays the last hours as live curves, and exports CSV or PDF over USB — the medium pH story writes itself into your notebook. Two chambers sizes, 80L and 160L, cover a single-user plate workload to a multi-user culture room.
