Description
Overview
The RGL is the vertical oven you buy when the bench is full but the workload is not: a floor-standing forced air drying oven with 20L to 210L of chamber, standing on roughly half a square metre of floor. The upright lab oven format keeps a full-size chamber reachable without a stepladder, and the front casters with brake mean the cabinet can be repositioned by one person.
Inside, it is the same convection architecture as our benchtop RDO — horizontal airflow, a low-noise blower, PID control with timer and over-temperature alarm — plus the feature that makes a vertical oven genuinely better for tall loads: adjustable air louvers that tune circulation to the batch, shelf by shelf. 304 stainless chambers with 10-speed airflow are available on C-configuration models.
Labs choose the RGL as their floor standing oven when glassware loads outgrow 70L benchtop boxes and batch drying starts queuing: 125L and 210L models carry six to eight shelf positions, so a full day’s glassware dries in a single run.
Key features
- Vertical floor-standing format. 20L to 210L of chamber on a ~0.5 m² footprint; front casters with brake on larger models
- Adjustable air louvers. tune the convection loop to the load — the difference between drying glassware and drying foam
- PID control with timer and alarm. LCD controller with self-tuning, over-temperature alarm and timed runs
- Double-layer glass window. full-width observation without opening the door
- 304 stainless chamber options. C-configuration chambers with rounded corners and 10-speed adjustable airflow
- Adjustable shelf spacing. 2 standard shelves; up to 8 positions on the 210L for tall glassware and mixed loads
- Silicone door seal. long high-temperature life without compression set

Where you would install it
- Large glassware loads. a full day of beakers and flasks in one 210L run, eight shelf positions deep
- Bulk sample drying. environmental, food and geological batches in one cycle
- Shared-lab drying duty. the vertical format lets multiple groups load without monopolising a bench
- General drying and baking. the same 300°C band as the RDO, on a floor footprint
Frequently asked questions
What sizes are available?
20L, 72L, 125L and 210L, all floor-standing. The 20L is a compact vertical for tight rooms; the 210L carries up to eight shelf positions.
Does it have casters?
Yes — larger models roll on casters with a front brake, so one person can position the cabinet.
Can I add more shelves?
Yes — shelf spacing is adjustable, and the 125L/210L models accept up to six and eight positions respectively.
What is the power draw?
From 600W on the 20L to 3000W on the 210L — every model runs on a standard 220V 50Hz circuit.
