APPLICATIONS

Floor-Standing Forced-Air Drying Ovens Applications & Use Cases

Application-led selection for real laboratory workflows.

Stability, siting and electrical supply

A taller cabinet has a higher centre of gravity and needs a level floor with enough clearance for the door and service access. The 2,000–3,000 W ratings also require a planned circuit rather than a shared bench outlet.

Compare the complete configuration

Chamber material, controller, shelf count and documentation all change the delivered scope. Public price data for this class is limited, so request a model-specific quotation with the shelf layout and electrical requirements stated.

PERFORMANCE & SELECTION

When a benchtop oven is no longer enough

A floor-standing oven is appropriate when the daily load no longer fits on two or three shelves, when taller glassware must stand upright, or when several batches must be processed together without constant unloading.

  • Measure the tallest item and the total shelf area required
  • Allow space for air circulation between trays and the chamber wall
  • Confirm the door swing and the route into the laboratory

CONFIGURATION & COMPATIBILITY

Shelves define usable capacity

The 125 L model accepts six shelves and the 210 L model accepts eight, but the practical load depends on shelf spacing, individual shelf load and the height of the items. A high nominal volume can be wasted if the shelf layout cannot hold the real load.

  • Confirm the shelf spacing needed for the tallest glassware
  • Keep within the 16 kg shelf rating
  • Do not block the rear air path with a full-width tray
